[English message will follow] Hier, la présentation mensuelle FACIL a consisté en deux parties: Premièrement, Robin Millette a présenté un tour d'horizon de la
communauté du libre québecoise. Ce tour était particulièrement
intéressant parce que nous avions quelques représentants de cette
communauté dans la salle: Cogitateurs-Agitateurs: Yannick Delbecque GNOME: Hubert Figuière Linux-Quebec: Nicolas Marchildon Montreal Perl Mongers: Marc Tardif Nattor: Robin Millette Ubuntu: Brad Bollenbach Deuxièmement, Risa Dickens a présenté Open Journal. Les articles qui
paraissent dans ce journal traitent du "open source" dans un sens large
du terme. Le fil directeur est que le processus de partage d'information
procure des bénéfices clairs à la société comparé en facilitant
des échanges interdisciplinaires. Nous avons aussi pris l'opportunité de s'étendre un peu sur les licences
de publications pour la documentation. En particulier, nous étions
préoccupés par la licence NC (Non-Commercial) utilisée sur le site web
de Open Journal. Un des problèmes avec cette license est quelle empêche
quiconque de vendre un recueil contenant de telles oeuvres sans obtenir
la permission de l'auteur, même si la vente ne couvre que les coûts

The articles in this
journal concern "open source" in its broadest definition. The directing
thread is that the process of sharing information provides clear benefits
for society by enabling interdisciplinary exchange. We also took the opportunity of expanding a little on licenses used for
the publication of documentation. In particular, we were concerned with
the NC (Not-Commercial) license used on the Open Journal web site. One of
the problems with this license is that it prevents anyone from selling a
collection containing such works without obtaining permission from the
author, even if the sale covers only the costs of production. Here is
